Les Farris Award

 Western Counties Liberal Democrats awarded Gloucester the Les Farris Award for the largest percentage increase in membership for January to October 2006.
The award was received by Chairman of the Gloucester Constituency, Chris Witts, at the Western Counties Annual Conference at Bradley Stoke, Bristol on Saturday 18th November 2006. The award of £75 and a certificate was presented by Graham Watson MEP.
The Gloucester Constituency aim this year was to increase membership to the Liberal Democrats and to be awarded this way for our achievement was well received.
